A Solution to VLSI: Digital Circuits Design in Quantum Dot Cellular Automata Technology

Quantum Dot Cellular Automata is a Nano device efficient than other devices in nanotechnology for the last two decades. It beneficial over Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor technology like high speed, low energy dissipation, density and computation efficiency. To achieve further optimization different methods simplifications Boolean expressions, tile method, clocking scheme, cell placement, arrangement, novel input techniques, etc., are use. These improve performance metrics terms of QCA Cells, total circuit area, delay output, power consumption, coplanar or multilayer layout. This paper about NOT gate layout designed with parameters compared to existing gates except area analysis XOR multiplexer circuits. The provides an improvement 55% number cells, polarization raised by 0.33, 80.77% area. circuits illustrate scope design efficiently. shows reduction up 0.006 μm2 0.5 clock cycle delay. Further this researchers can optimize bring revolution digitalization.
